Scholarship Foundation
Share a Vision. . .
Ionia Public Schools, through unanimous action of its Board of Education in February 2005, approved an alliance with the Grand Rapids Community Foundation and the Ionia County Community Foundation to create its own Scholarship Endowment Fund.
. . . Reach for a Goal
The school district’s primary goal is to increase its ability to award scholarships to every graduate continuing his or her studies.
. . . Reap the Benefit
Opportunities under the Community Foundation umbrella include tax advantages to contributors, the security of a larger foundation, and outstanding investment management and oversight. In addition, your gift to the Scholarship Fund may qualify for both State and Federal tax deductions (if you itemize) and because your donation will go to an endowed fund at a community foundation you may receive additional tax benefits through the Michigan State Tax Credit for Community Foundations.
